Here's one more of the kitchen. 

This is the view fom the main living room back into the hallway. This room is the combination of two rooms from the old floor plan. We knocked down two walls to make once large space that we will use for a living room and a dining room. The hallway is much shorter as a result and the space from the hallway adds to the space of the large room. 

This is view from the hallway into the main living room. We had thought that we were going to need a post dividing this large opening, but the city inspector let us go without.

We are really excited about how things are starting to look! 

Condo Update

After getting back from North Carolina we found that much had been done in the condo. The contractors have completed all dry wall/plaster work and have started working on the doors and trim. By next week they may begin painting. We have scheduled a move in date of November 30th, which just so happens to be 2 years from the day of the fire.

Heidi got to spend some quality time with Gradpa T at the vacation rental beach house in Emerald Ilse, NC. I believe in this picture both models may be smiling because Michigan was putting the hurt on Michigan State as the same time as the Tigers were wrapping up another ALCS game. What a great day! 

Training Continues

Vacation is not a time to sit around and be lazy. Here, Heidi continue her training with an intense walking exercise. Her personal training assistent is giving her a little help.
