The Strachan's come to visit!

We were lucky to have Beth, Lucas, Kaden and Sue come to visit us this past weekend. We met Kaden for the first time he is adorable and an angel baby! It was great to see everyone and for Heidi to meet her cousin and get used to having a small baby around! Unfortunatley we all seemed to get sick with a stomach bug but we still managed to have a good time.

Unfortunately this is the best picture we could get of Heidi and Kaden together......as you can see Heidi did not want to cooperate for the camera at this point and all the other ones we took are out of focus!

Brian got some practise at holding small babies again.......he is going to need it in a few months!

Watching Daddy

Heidi likes to stand on her chair and look out the window for Daddy. This picture was taken during our first snow storm at the new house and Heidi and I watched Brian shovel from the warmth of the house :)

Hi Daddy!! I miss you!

This pictiure is especially for Daddy, he is in Minnesota right now and isn't back until wednesday night.....I keep asking for him but Mummy says he is on an airplane so I like to look for airplanes out of the window to see if I can see him :)

A Sign of Things to Come

In 16 years or so, Heidi won't need any help with this move... This is the hoop outside of our house on the road. We also have a hoop on our garage, which forms an almost perfect full court! I can't wait for the spring when we can start working Heidi through some drills.

Frosty's got nothing on this fellow.... To bad it rained the next day and fell apart. When we walk by the remains of the snowman, Heidi says 'Bye Bye...'.

On our first weekend in the new house, it snowed about a foot. After Daddy shoveled the drive, we went out and played for a while. Thats our house in the background on the right.

Getting Used to the New Room

Here Heidi is, testing out the chair in her new room. Daddy spent a long time painting, cleaning, and assembling to get the room ready for her once we moved into the new house. Heidi seemed pleased with the end result.

One word sums up the room quite well: Pink. I'm sure Aunt Beth doesn't approve, but Heidi seems keen on the color.

Its been a while since we posted new pics of Heidi... Our appolgies. Its been very busy as of late moving into a new house, selling our condo, and looking after Sarah, Heidi, and the Bump.

Due to that very same business, comments here will be brief!
