Back to Acadia / Bar Harbor
Sarah surprised me for our Anniversary and planned a weekend trip to Bar Harbor, Maine, location of Acadia National Park. We spent a couple days in the park hiking the trails and enjoying a break from the city.
Walden Pond
Here we are at Walden Pond. Pete and Diane came for a visit and we spent half a day on the small beach there and walking around the encircling trail.
Old Man and the Sea
Here I am wrestling with what I thought was a monster.... Turned out to be a rock. Half the beach came over to watch the event...

Aaaarrrggggghhhh!
This loooks like I am torturing Heidi or something really bad but I am just wiping her face clean after lunch at the farm we went to last weekend. Heidi is trying to escape by using the arching back technique.
Swimming
The last time Heidi was in a pool she clung to me and would not let go for dear life........ even to go to Daddy. This time around she loved it and we couldn't keep her out!
First steps
Heidi has been taking some of her first steps the past couple of weeks. She is up to about 9-10 in one go before falling on her bum. This is her in action. (Please note Mummy did not pick out this colorful outfit ;)
Heidi's new favourite pass time
Heidi takes great enjoyment out of emptying the contents of all the kitchen drawers; shown here is a favourite the ziploc bags (they are not so easy to put back in the box once they've been spread all over the kitchen floor and Mummy slips on them!)

Heidi likes playing in this house in the local park; she especially likes playing peek-a-boo with the windows.
